This page explains how to permanently delete your Mesozoica account and the data associated with it.

About Mesozoica

Mesozoica is a location-based paleontology game. For support requests, contact contact@mesozoica.app.

How to request account deletion

In the Mesozoica app:

1. Open Profile.
2. Open Settings.
3. Open the Account tab.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm Delete.

After confirmation, deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone. You must be signed in to complete this request.

What we delete

When deleting your account, Mesozoica removes:

• Your account identity (email, username, profile fields, linked sign-in methods, Firebase identity).
• Your gameplay progress (sites, fossils, dinosaurs, tools, skills/XP, walking distance, and related records).
• Your profile media, relationships, notifications, and account-linked device tokens.

What may remain

In limited cases, some shared or system-level records may be retained when required for:

• legal compliance;
• abuse prevention and platform safety;
• short-lived backup recovery windows;
• integrity of shared resources that other users still rely on.

Need to keep your account?

If you want to remove selected progress but continue using Mesozoica, use Delete data in the same settings area. See https://learnfromdata.ai/mesozoica/delete-data.
